Ale Espinosa
Multimedia journalist

Ale Espinosa joins KCTV5 from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she was awarded her first Emmy as a Multimedia Journalist.
During her time in the Grand Strand, Ale uncovered issues at the Marion County 911 Dispatch Center. Her investigation revealed tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars were left unused to train dispatchers, resulting in delayed response times that led to several deaths.
Born in Puerto Rico, but raised in Orlando, Florida, Ale graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice.
Ale is passionate about digging behind the headlines, getting answers, and holding the powerful accountable.
Beyond the newsroom, Ale loves spending time with her family (ideally on a beach). She loves going to concerts and watching Dateline with her cat named Toast.
