Private investigator offering $50k reward for information that leads to finding Angela Green

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police say then 51-year-old Angela Green was last seen on June 19, 2019, near her home in the 7600 block of Tomahawk Road in Prairie Village, Kansas.

Her driver’s license, passport, purse, and keys were all left behind. Relatives have said there are no signs she’s traveled by plane, train, bus, or car. The Prairie Village Police Department and FBI are working together to investigate her disappearance.

On Thursday night, private investigator Steve Ridge announced he was offering a $50,000 reward for “the location of missing Prairie Village resident Angela Green, or the recovery and positive identification of her remains.”

Ridge stated that he has worked with relatives on the case for more than three years and interviewed dozens of family members, neighbors, and friends with potential knowledge of Green’s disappearance.

“Daughter Ellie Green, her cousin, Michelle Guo, and Prairie Village Police lead detective, Sargent Adam Taylor are all very supportive of this increased reward as a potential means of cracking this case,” Ridge stated. “I am fully confident that more than one person knows exactly what happened to Angela and where remains likely were placed.  Eventually, someone will talk.  My goal is to accelerate discovering the truth.  This has been five years of living hell for Angela’s loving family.”

In a KC Unsolved feature, relatives and investigators told KCTV5 News Green’s husband, Geoff Green, has given conflicting information about Angela’s whereabouts.

A “Justice for Angela Green” GoFundMe has also been set up, raising more than $28,000.
