Betty Rae’s ready to entice Big 12 fans with new flavors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - It’s all about Big 12 basketball in Kansas City.
As the men’s championship tournament tips off downtown, businesses are expecting a full press of customers and visitors.
Betty Rae’s in the River Market hopes to lure basketball fans from downtown with new catchy flavors and names.
Kansas fans may be impressed with Betty Rae’s new “Phog Fandom” option.

It’s mixed up with passion fruit, cherry mash and blueberry muffins. Fans may need to “Beware of the Phog” because this flavor is so good.
As EMAW prepares to takeover and cheer Kansas State to victory, fans need to fuel up for the challenge.

Betty Rae’s has EMAW Frenzy. The option is mixed up of purple lavender and honey.
Iowa State fans will show up in force to cheer on the Cyclones. Fans will want to make their way to the River Market location to taste Betty Rae’s Cyclone Enthusiast, which is a cheesecake ice cream with red and yellow sprinkles.

Houston returns to the Big 12 Championship Tournament eyeing the conference title. Fans will also be eyeing this Cougar Maniacs ice crime option. It is a white chocolate raspberry flavor.

The Red Raider Addict ice cream option for Texas Tech will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. The red velvet flavor will keep anyone coming back for more.

Betty Rae’s is also welcoming one of the newest Big 12 teams to town in a special way. The Wildcat Fanatic is made up of sweet cream with red, white, and blue sprinkles just for Arizona fans.

The Big 12 flavors are only available at Betty Rae’s River Market location.
Anyone can take the free streetcar from T-Mobile Center or Union Station to the River Market to try the newest options.
