Hello Kitty returns to Kansas City metro to celebrate 50th Anniversary
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An iconic popup will return to the metro to celebrate a milestone.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will pull into the Kansas City metro Saturday, May 10. It will only be in town one day.
This year’s visit is special because it celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the loveable character. Special iridescent totes and hoodies that are exclusive to the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be available to honor the anniversary.
The truck will also sell apparel like ringer and lilac tees. Collectibles such as ceramic mugs, thermal bottles, pins and cup ornaments will also be available for fans to buy.
Giant cookies, macaron sets and other special treats will be served out of the truck too.
Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be parked at Town Center Plaza in Leawood in front of Whole Harvest from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 10. The truck only accepts credit and debit cards. It is a cashless operation.
