Mizzou adds one of the top RBs in transfer portal with several years of eligibility remaining
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - One of the top running backs in the transfer portal this year is headed to Mizzou.
Wednesday night, Louisiana-Monroe running back Ahmad Hardy announced that he’s committing to Mizzou after one season as a Warhawk.
“New beginnings !!! Committed !! thank God,” Hardy wrote on Twitter.
Hardy had 94 missed tackles forced during his freshman season in 2024, which trailed only Boise State star Ashton Jeanty in college football.
He’ll fill a need for the Tigers, who will lose senior running backs Nate Noel and Marcus Carroll from their 2024 roster. The pair of senior running backs combined for more than 1,300 rushing yards in 2024.
