CHICAGO (WLS) - The party is over for Chicago’s annual Cinco de Mayo parade this year.
Organizers announced Thursday that the tradition and its festivities on the city’s southwest side have been canceled this year.
Organizers said immigration policies from the Trump Administration are creating fear in the Mexican community and canceling the event puts safety over profit.
