The First Warn 5 Weather team needs help forecasting the weather, and we’re turning to an elite group of mini meteorologists for help!

Mini Meteorologists is a pre-recorded segment that is featured on the last Thursday of every month on the KCTV5 Weather Show (M-F) 6:30p-7p. Viewers can nominate their child, between the ages of 5-12 years old, to help forecast the weather with one of our meteorologists!

One important note: the child must live in the following Kansas City Metro counties to qualify; Johnson, Jackson, Miami, Cass, Leavenworth, Clay and Platte.
