KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs are re-signing wide receiver Hollywood Brown to a 1-year deal according to multiple reports. ESPN and the NFL Network report the deal is worth up to $11 million.

Brown, a 2019 first-round pick, joined the Chiefs last year on a 1-year deal but was hindered by injuries. The speedster was injured in the Chiefs’ first preseason game and returned to action in late December. The 27-year-old caught 14 passes for 141 yards in the regular and postseason combined.

Brown is a six-year NFL veteran and began his career with the Baltimore Ravens before being traded to the Arizona Cardinals ahead of the 2022 season.

Despite retaining Brown, the Chiefs have several holes to fill in their wide receiver room. DeAndre Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Justin Watson, and Mecole Hardman are all impending free agents.
