Report: Police called after Tyreek Hill, wife in dispute

SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. (KCTV/AP) - Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his wife were involved in a domestic dispute Monday that resulted in no charges being filed, according to a police report obtained by the Associated Press.
Sunny Isles Beach Police Department officers responded to the high-rise condominium of Hill and his wife following a call from Hill’s mother-in-law.
According to the report, the mother-in-law told responding officers the 31-year-old wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins was “aggressive and impulsive” and that she was afraid for her daughter. His wife told police the couple had been attending couples’ therapy and that it had not been working, leading her to be in the process of filing for a divorce.
Hill allegedly told officers he had just returned from training and sat down with his wife to talk about their therapy. He claimed the discussion escalated when she told him he wasn’t involved enough with their daughter.
Officers observed the baby to be in good health and Hill’s wife declined to write a statement. Police said Hill then left the home in their presence about 40 minutes after they arrived.
It’s the latest off-field issue for Hill. He was the subject of a lawsuit in February 2024 after a social media influencer claimed he fractured her leg while shoving her during a football drill at his South Florida mansion the previous summer.
