Amusement park, resort project at Lake of the Ozarks pushes back opening
OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (KCTV) - A new entertainment district project at the Lake of the Ozarks is underway, but its opening will be later than first expected.
Oasis at Lakeport, which will house an amusement park, hotel and conference center, indoor waterpark and more, will target a Summer 2026 time frame for its opening.
SkyView Partners, one of the development firms behind the project, stated that the amusement park and 1,000-space parking garage will open in the summer months next year, while the water park and hotel will open in the first quarter of 2027.

Todd Schneider with SkyView Partners told KCTV5 that the timeline delay was in part due to buying out 2,400 timeshares in a nearby building. That building has finally been knocked down, and Schneider said heavy construction should be back up in June.
The year-round entertainment destination plans to feature 25 acres of amusement rides and attractions, a 402-room Marriott Resort and Conference Center property with a 30,000-square-foot conference center, an indoor waterpark, restaurants, 200 public boat slips and a 1,000-space parking garage.

The Oasis at Lakeport development was property acquired by Big Thunder Marine in 2021, at Highway 54 and Jeffries Road. Development of the project began on May 24, 2024.
Schneider stated that the initial projected cost of the project has increased from the initial $350 million to $450 million. An amphitheater that was in the initial designs for the project has been removed from the plans.

A new 4,755-square-foot Napoli Bros. restaurant, a St. Louis-based Italian chain, will also open on the grounds of Oasis at Lakeport.
