KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Sporting Kansas City added outside back Andrew Brody off waivers on Thursday.

Brody, a 29-year-old who spent each of the last four seasons with Real Salt Lake, has 238 appearances as a professional since 2016.

He starred at Louisville from 2013-15 and helped the Cardinals win regular season and tournament titles in the American Conference in 2013.

Brody helped Real Monarchs, the USL Championship affiliate for Real Salt Lake, win the 2019 USL Championship.

He brings the Sporting KC roster to 26 players ahead of Saturday’s MLS opener at Austin FC.
