KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Park Hill High School’s Jaylin Noel is set to begin his NFL career in Houston.

Noel, an All-Big 12 selection several times during his four-year career at Iowa State, was drafted with the 79th overall selection by the Houston Texans in the 3rd round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Iowa State wide receiver and 2021 graduate of Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri, was the Big 12 Co-Special Teams Player of the Year in 2024.

Noel was part of an Iowa State team that won a school record 11 games and reached the Big 12 Championship Game in 2024.

As a senior, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver totaled 80 receptions for 1,194 yards and 8 touchdowns. For his career, Noel had 245 receptions for 2,855 receiving yards and 18 total touchdowns.

Noel lined up in the slot on 70 percent of his snaps as a senior with the Cyclones and was expected by many to be a Day 2 pick in the draft.

He was a Second Team All-Big 12 selection as a wide receiver in 2023 and was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection in 2024 despite better numbers. He was, however, a First Team All-Big 12 kick and punt returner in 2024.
