Sporting KC unveils new primary uniforms ahead of 2025 season

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - As Sporting KC prepares for kickoff of the 2025 season, the club unveiled a new primary jersey for the next two seasons.
The “One KC’ kit, as the club is calling it, features a progressive take on the organization’s classic uniform. It includes the club’s signature hoop stripes along with each dark indigo stripe composed of a repeating state line pattern.
According to a release from Sporting KC Friday morning, “the ‘One KC’ kit celebrates the deep connection between club, city and community with a design that showcases two powerful symbols: the beloved hoops that have become an unmistakable hallmark of Sporting KC as well as the state border that defines the region’s unique identity.”

The new uniform look also features interlocking argyle diamonds -- a traditional Sporting KC brand element -- on the back neck, in a tribute to previous primary uniforms.
Compass Minerals, which has been Sporting’s jersey-front partner since 2022, will continue to have its logo on display on the uniforms.
Sporting KC opens the 2025 season on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Children’s Mercy Park with a Round One matchup in the Concacaf Champions Cup against Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF. The club’s MLS season begins on Saturday, Feb. 22 with a road match at Austin FC.
