Kansas City Current’s home opener is Saturday! Here’s what you need to know

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The home opener for the KC Current is on March 15 at 11:45 a.m. against the Portland Thorns with gates opening at 9:45.

Here’s everything you need to know before you go.

Tickets

• Single-game tickets for the matchup can be purchased on SeatGeek.
• Tickets begin at $30 for Standing Room Only, for seats, most tickets begin around $70.

Parking and transportation

• Parking in the Red lot is $195
• Parking in the Green Teal lot will be $217
  • This does not include any processing fees SeatGeek may add
  • An additional option is to park in the downtown Kansas City metro area, there are multiple modes of transportation to the stadium.

KCTV confirmed with the Current that parking passes at the stadium are sold out. CPKC encourages other means of transportation to the stadium.

Gameday activities

• CPKC Plaza pre-game activities begin at 8:45 a.m. and include:
  • A performance by DJ Doop
  • CPR training
  • face painting
  • giveaways
  • more
• On the CPKC Stadium concourse beginning when gates open:
  • A dollar off of Guinness purchased at YETI bar until halftime
  • Autographs from select players on the Northwestern area of the concourse from 10:15 to 10:45
• After the game:
  • A post-game happy hour
  • A picture on the field
  • 10,000 stadium stickers will be handed out when exiting
