LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - Kansas wing AJ Storr entered the transfer portal Thursday, marking the final Jayhawk from last year’s roster to depart following a disappointing season.

With Storr entering the portal -- and barring any others who have entered changing course and returning -- the Jayhawks won’t return any scoring from its 2024-25 roster to next season. News of Storr’s transfer was reported by several outlets, including ESPN and On3.

Storr, a 6-foot-6 wing from Rockford, Illinois, averaged 6.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game on 38% shooting and 29% from 3-point range. The former Wisconsin and St. John’s product will be on his fourth team in four collegiate seasons when he suits up next year.

The former All-Big Ten and All-Big East Freshman honoree arrived in Lawrence having averaged 16.8 points per game at Wisconsin as a sophomore. His scoring plummeted at KU, where he took eight fewer shots per game than the year prior.

Kansas went 21-13 and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Arkansas.

Storr joins Flory Bidunga, Rylan Griffen, David Coit, Rakease Passmore and Zach Clemence as members of the 2024-25 KU team with eligibility remaining who have announced intentions to transfer. KU will also lose Dajuan Harris, Zeke Mayo, KJ Adams and Hunter Dickinson -- all of which have exhausted their collegiate eligibility.
