COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - After sitting out a season due to injury, former West Virginia guard Jayden Stone is joining the Missouri Tigers.

News of Stone’s transfer was first reported by The Athletic’s Tobias Bass.

The 6-foot-4 guard from Perth, Australia, did not play for West Virginia in the 2024-25 season due to injury. He spent the two years prior to that at Detroit Mercy and played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Grand Canyon.

During the 2023-24 season, Stone averaged 20.8 points per game for Detroit Mercy.

He played prep basketball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas.

Stone joins UCLA transfer Sebastian Mack, Loyola Marymount forward Jevon Porter and Oklahoma forward Luke Northweather as transfers joining Mizzou for the 2025-26 season.
