New Kansas country music festival to fill void starting this summer
MANHATTAN, Kan. (KCTV) - A Country Music Festival will play its way into the Little Apple this summer.
The “Rock the Plains Music Festival” is a two-day event that will take place at Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, Kan. The festival is scheduled for August 8-9.
Camping is available and local vendors will be on hand to sell food, drinks, and merchandise.
Rock the Plains also hosts concerts in Houston, Dallas, and Nashville.
The festival will fill a void left by Country Stampede. The popular festival called the state park home for 24 years before it left in 2019, for Topeka, and then Bonner Springs.
More than 10,000 fans are expected to attend the festival, according to organizers. They are excited to see some of the following artists:
