Details leaked: Mahomes, Kelce 1587 Prime to bring unique dining experience to Downtown Kansas City
From a tunnel entrance to artwork, the new restaurant is packed with nods to Mahomes, Kelce
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are preparing to make headlines away from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this summer.
1587 Prime Steakhouse is scheduled to open in the coming months. Noble 33 and the team involved in designing the new restaurant released some key details about what customers will experience when they walk inside.
The restaurant’s street-level entrance is designed to resemble walking through a stadium tunnel. The tunnel will lead customers to the host stand and a 10-foot-wide display featuring refrigerated meat.
The floor will feature brass markers in the floor to mimic yard lines that are normally found on a football field.
Customers will also likely notice small tributes to the Kansas City Chiefs throughout the space. There will be red marbling details on tabletops in the main dining area. Artwork featuring deconstructed footballs will also be featured throughout the restaurant.

1587 Prime will also feature different drink and dining options over two stories. The following seating will be available in addition to a regular restaurant setting:
- A central bar located on the first floor with seating for 20
- A private dining room that can seat up to 18
- A semi-private dining room with seating for up to 40 people.
There will be a private entrance for VIPs.
The restaurant will also feature a grand piano at the base of the primary staircase. There is also expected to be live music at the restaurant nightly.
1587 will eventually open inside the Loews Hotel at 1500 Baltimore Avenue, near West 15th Street and Broadway Boulevard in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
