INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (KCTV) - Pianist Michael Davidman won the 2025 American Piano Awards on April 5th in Indianapolis.

Davidman earned a graduate artist diploma from Park University’s International Center for Music (ICM) in 2023.

The 27-year-old is the second consecutive Park University graduate to win the competition. The competition lasts 13 months; the 2025 competition began in March 2024.

2021 Park ICM graduate Kenny Broberg won the competition in 2021. Davidman was a finalist that same year before he transferred to Park.

The finals took place on April 4, and Davidman performed “Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor, Op. 30,” written by Sergei Rachmaninoff. A video of the performance can be found here. Davidman’s performance begins an hour and 28 minutes into the video.

Davidman is studying with Park University ICm founder and artistic director Stanislav Ioudenitch at the Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid, Spain.
