Azura Amphitheater announces Grammy Award-winning British band joins summer lineup

BONnER SPRINGS, Kan. (KCTV) - Following the release of Mumford and Sons’ fifth album, RUSHMERE, the band will stop in Kansas City on its North American Tour.

Azura Amphitheater announced on March 28 that the Grammy Award-winning band is performing on July 24 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Special guest Gregory Alan Isakov will join Mumford and Sons.

Tickets go on sale on April 4 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here. The Azura Amphitheater box office is temporarily closed for renovation.

Mumford and Sons has partnered with PLUS1 to support War Child. With every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to help War Child protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children affected by war.

The British trio is known for their folk-rock hits. They won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2012 with Babel. Gregory Alan Isakov is known for his poetic lyrics and blending of indie and Americana influences.

If you can’t see the band at Azura Amphitheater, other tour locations include Morrison, Colorado; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Chicago, Illinois.
