Daycares break ground in Kansas City to serve hundreds of children
Dozens of new jobs to open
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two more daycares have broken ground to serve hundreds of metro area children and employ dozens of community members.
Leaders at Kiddie Academy have announced that they have broken ground on two new locations in the Kansas City area - In Liberty and Overland Park. The new locations, which both began construction on April 3, are owned and operated by TCF Schools Management.
School leaders noted that the new Kiddie Academies are set to be located at N. Cedar and NE Cookingham Dr. in Liberty, as well as at Metcalf and 162nd Ter. in Overland Park.
“Life Essentials® is a comprehensive curriculum for early childhood education designed to inspire and transform the world by educating children and supporting families. Kiddie Academy of Liberty is TCF Schools Management’s 16th Academy nationwide,” said Mauricio Fracon, TCF chairman and Kiddie Academy franchisee. “We are thrilled to begin growing Kiddie Academy of Liberty.”
Each facility is expected to be a state-of-the-art, 13,000 square foot structure equipped with 14 classrooms and a modern playground. Both schools are set to serve 206 children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age. Together, they are expected to bring 70 jobs to the metro.
“Kiddie Academy of Overland Park is TCF Schools Management’s 17th Academy nationwide and our second Kansas location,” Fracon said. “Our vision is to create a better future and lead the way by making a difference in the lives of children in the region and honoring the educators who dedicate their time, passion and expertise to nurturing young minds.”
