Voters decline to pass $32.5M bond for Piper School District

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Voters in Wyandotte County declined to approve a school bond that would’ve improved, repaired and remodeled facilities and technology in the Piper School District.

According to unofficial final results from the Wyandotte County Election Office, voters largely voted ‘no’ in the 2025 USD 203 special election.

Unofficial final results shared Tuesday night showed 1,489 ‘no’ votes and 860 ‘yes’ votes.

The special election had a 21.6% voter turnout.
