Former Robert Courtney patient becomes pharmacist to ‘right the wrong’
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Michelle Roseblock was one of thousands of patients affected by Kansas City pharmacist Robert Courtney.
Courtney admitted to diluting chemotherapy treatments and other medications, too. Roseblock has suspected he diluted her fertility treatments.
She recently reflected on what it was like to learn that a trusted pharmacist she personally trusted was charged with mislabeling and adulterating drugs
“I was surprised,” she said. ”But then again, it answered a lot of questions (such as) the reason why I never responded as effectively as the doctor wanted me to. It kind of made more sense.”

Roseblock took the deception and disappointment, and she channeled it into a new career. She went back to college and became a pharmacist.
“You almost want to right the wrong,” she said. “There are still good people out there that will do the right thing in the pharmacy field.”
Roseblock has remained one of the several families haunted by what Robert Courtney did and surprised he is able to leave prison early.
“Thirty years just doesn’t seem quite enough for all the damage he’s done,” she said.
