Kansas City Current name Caitlin Carducci as team’s general manager
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Current has removed the interim tag off Caitlin Carducci and promoted her to lead the front office of the club.
The Current announced on Wednesday morning that Carducci, who filled in after former general manager Camille Ashton resigned in May, will be the team’s newest GM.
“I came to Kansas City because I believe in the vision that (owners) Angie (Long) and Chris (Long) have for this club in this city, and I believe in Vlatko’s ambition and ability to help see that through,” said Carducci. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and confident that together we can build a club that can find success on and off the field.”

Previous experience includes being the NWSL director of player affairs and holding multiple positions within U.S. Soccer.
