KC Current trade Glas to Seattle for transfer funds

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Current traded defender Hanna Glas on Monday in a trade that brought back transfer funds to the club.
Glas, who missed the entire 2023 season with an ACL injury and returned to play in two games this summer with Kansas City, was sent to the Seattle Reign for $10,000 in intra-league transfers funds in the NWSL.
If several conditions are met, the Current could receive another $10,000 in transfer funds from Seattle.

The Current have nine games remaining in the 2024 season, which concludes on Nov. 3. They host the Utah Royals on Sept. 7.
