Missouri man charged after child reports sexual relationship to hairdresser
DAVIESS CO., Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri man is behind bars after a child admitted to their hairdresser that they had been in a sexual relationship for years.
Daviess County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Monday, May 5, indicate that David A. Hogan, 25, of Jamesport, has been charged after he allegedly enticed a child to have sexual intercourse with him.
A probable cause statement filed by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office revealed that on April 29, 2025, a child victim reported to their hairdresser that they had been involved in a sexual relationship with Hogan.
Investigators said they found the relationship between Hogan and the child started 2 years prior when he asked to have sex with the victim and they exchanged sexual images via Snapchat. He had been a longtime family friend of the victim and was aware that the victim was a child.
As a result, court documents indicated that Hogan has been charged with a single count of enticement of a child under the age of 15. A bond reduction hearing has been set for 10 a.m. on Monday, May 12.
As of Thursday, May 8, Hogan remains behind bars with no bond listed. No further information has been released.
