KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - After the Missouri State Tax Commission ordered Jackson County to fix some 2023 property tax assessments, a motion has been filed to dismiss a lawsuit against the county.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s office is moving to dismiss the lawsuit against Jackson County regarding the property tax assessment issues.

That motion was made Wednesday and has led to the scheduling of a Thursday afternoon virtual hearing with a judge.
