KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Several firearms found to have been shot in the backyard of a Kansas City home have led to multiple charges levied against two people from the area.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Sunday, May 4, indicate that Ramon and Anabel Radillo, 47 and 36, of Kansas City, have been charged after several shots were fired in the backyard of a Kansas City home.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that just before 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, law enforcement officials were called to a local neighborhood with reports of shots fired.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a neighbor who directed them to the backyard of a nearby home where both Radillos were found. One rifle and four pistols were found atop a table, along with several empty beer cans with multiple bullet holes.

Investigators noted that Ramon admitted the pair had fired several shots at the beer cans in the backyard. Anabel confirmed their story. Through the investigation, it was found that both had been under the influence of alcohol as they handled the firearms.

Both were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Detention Center and face charges of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm. As of Wednesday, May 7, neither Radillo remains behind bars as their $5,000 bonds have been posted.

A court appearance has been scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15.
