K-State signs Serbian star Andrej Kostic

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KCTV) - One of the youngest stars in Serbian basketball is coming to Manhattan, Kansas, for this upcoming season of college basketball.
On Tuesday, 6-foot-5 Serbian guard Andrej Kostic joined the Kansas State Wildcats on an NIL deal worth a reported $1 million.
Kostic played for Dynamic Balkan Bet in Serbia and is considered the country’s top prospect born in 2006, according to Adam Zagoria.
He becomes K-State’s fifth commitment of this year, joining Monmouth guard Abdi Bashir, UNC Wilmington forward Khamari McGriff, Akron guard Nate Johnson and high school prospect Exavier Wilson.
Kostic averaged 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in the U18 league as a player on Crvena Zvezda’s development team, Dynamic. He also led Serbia’s U18 National Team to a silver medal in the 2024 EuroBasket competition.
