MANHATTAN, Kan. (KCTV) - A pair of Kansas State Wildcats were honored by the Big 12 among several players as the league named all-conference selections on Monday.

K-State senior forward Coleman Hawkins was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team, while senior forward David N’Guessan was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.

Hawkins averaged 10.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the Wildcats after transferring to K-State from Illinois for his final season of college.

N’Guessan averaged a K-State leading 13.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, shooting 63.8% from the floor during his fifth collegiate season. The third-year Wildcat joined head coach Jerome Tang and the Wildcats ahead of the 2022-23 season after opening his career with two seasons at Virginia Tech.

The duo becomes the fifth and sixth players to receive All-Big 12 honors during the Tang era at K-State.

The Wildcats went 15-16 in the regular season with a 9-11 record in Big 12 play. They open the Big 12 Tournament as the No. 10 seed and will play No. 15 seed Arizona State Tuesday night at 6 p.m. CT at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
