K-State opens Big 12 Tournament play without star senior Ayoka Lee

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas State Wildcats are set to open postseason play without star senior center Ayoka Lee.
The All-Big 12 Second Team selection who played in just 19 of 31 regular season games for the Wildcats this season stood baseline with a boot on her left foot as K-State warmed up for its first game of the Big 12 Tournament.
Lee, who has averaged 15.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season for the 25-6 (13-5 in Big 12 play) Wildcats, has played just one game since Jan. 19 when she appeared for five minutes in a Feb. 22 win over Kansas.

The Wildcats open Big 12 Tournament play in the Second Round as the No. 5 seed. They play UCF (12-17, 4-14).
ESPN projects the Wildcats as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which begins Friday, March 21.
